Zach has a degree from Cornell in atmospheric science, climate change, & applied economics and is now pursuing his master's at Millersville University in Environmental Management. Zach is passionate about creating a generation of science literate citizens!

S835: Crash Course on Climate Change & Sustainability in Rainstorm Summer 2021 (Aug. 14 - 15, 2021)
Climate Change is the largest problem facing the current generation. It is already causing billions of dollars in infrastructure damage, countless deaths, wars, ecosystem losses, aesthetic impacts, etc. This course will focus on the basic science of climate change, why it matters, and what we can do to prevent it from worsening. We will discuss various philosophies of sustainability as well as some leading climate change solution strategies. The goal of this course is to motivate students to believe they have the knowledge and power to be a positive ingredient for change.
