S696: Glowing brains: how science can see past the mush in Rainstorm Spring 2021 (May. 15 - 16, 2021)
The brain is a big pile of mush, and studying the building blocks of the human brain is pretty hard. Luckily, we have smaller, easier to manipulate models (like mice) that have allowed us to see into the depths of this fascinating organ. In this course you will learn about different methods to see the different cells of the brain and think about the issues each one presents.
