What drives behavior in animals? How do animals respond to danger? How do animals learn and why do they play? We will explore these topics (and a few more) and consider why behavior matters in the wild.

S742: Animal Behavior: The Basics in Rainstorm Spring 2021 (May. 15 - 16, 2021)

Do animals have personalities? What causes different animals to behave differently? Why do animals play? This class will briefly introduce students to basic concepts in the field of animal behavior through a presentation and breakout discussions.
