Theatre can be really fun and it can be even more fun in a fun part. How can you learn to do it your way and be true to the role? This course will give a brief introduction to what it means to be a larger than life character in a show, musical, or skit by employing some simple techniques to search the role or your own ideas. Along with a brief review of past character actors and what character acting means as a whole, we will explore how the actor can explore the role and employ their experience and ideas in an environment that has a director and varying directions an interpretation of a role can go.
